I'm working on it!

So I know, I know, I am not very good at updating my blog. I added my nice little slide show today, which I am so proud of myself for!!, but I also wanted to add this lovely picture of Mary Ann. A few weeks ago Boyd and Adam labored long and hard on Adam's shed. While Mary Ann and I went and got a pedicure. We brought food back for Adam and Boyd with some dessert, but what we didn't tell them was that we stopped at this little deli and got these Awesome cookies. We ate them in the car together before we got back so they never knew. He he he he! Mary Ann isn't so innocent is she, and I have PROOF. We had such a good time together! I'm so glad that we took the time to go down that weekend. Thanks to Mike and Jo who watched the kids that day! I sure did appreciate it. So I am going to try harder to keep the blog updated so bear with me!! :)

Family Time!

We spent last week end taking some time out for our family. We went to Spring Hollow and fished, hiked, had some lunch and just enjoyed the afternoon together. The kids had such a good time as well as Boyd, Jo, and myself. Jo was the Master Angler! She cast for all the kids and was a PRO!! The kids were so funny! They were so excited just to be out and having fun doing something together. We hiked up Spring Hollow to where the kids could look for fossils. Holy cow I need to work OUT! We didn't catch any fish there so we ended up going down the highway from the house to the Little Bear river. It was what Boyd calls "crap fishing" but the fish were biting! We all had so much fun! It was great to see their expressions when they caught the fish. Jacie was even baiting her own hook with the worms.... eewwww Gross!! It was an awesome day together that we are going to make a regular event this summer.
