The Land of Enchantment?

So I spent 3.5 days in New Mexico to see one of my bestest friends Shanilee. I get so nervous about the traveling. I'm always worried I won't find my gate or something will happen to the plane, but I made it to the airplane in SLC, breezed through security, and my flight was on time. I felt like a little kid when it was time for the plane to take off I had a huge grin on my face, and as the plane left the ground and your stomach does a little flip, I giggled out loud. It was great! :) The weekend was soo fun. It was so WONDERFUL to see Shanilee and the girls. My little Yammy funnier than 700 indians :) She had me laughing the whole time. Mialah is quiet the character, and Jailee was her beautiful little princess self. Shanilee on the other hand was looking a litte ragged. Ha ha ha just kidding! She looked great. We went to Santa Fe and Albacorky, and just had a good time. I was a little dismayed however; I was commissioned to make goodies for Shanilee, but her kitchen was lacking many KEY utinsels. I'm hoping she corrects that before I come back again. Just know that a can of cooking spray can double as a rolling pin. HA! I was shocked when Shanilee told me that New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment. It was on all the license plates. WHAT THE HECK?? I personally did not find anything enchanting about it so if anyone knows why, please fill me in. I didn't know that BROWN and more BROWN were even enchanting colors!

Back home was Boyd being such an awesome dad and husband taking care of the kids while I was away. I am so lucky to have him! He is such a good man and takes such good care of me and the kids. He is always so good to let me go and do. I love him so very much. He even suprised me at the airport when he came to pick me up.... there he was all decked out in this SaWeet suit. He said he was standing next to me for a while and I didn't even know it was him, I didn't figure it out until he pulled my luggage of the tram and I wondered who was this guy taking my luggage, Lo and Behold it was my HANSOME PRINCE with a rose for me as well. He was a "Fine Specimen" all decked out just for me. He has never had a suit let-a-lone a really nice one, But he does now!! It was so good to see all my little ones, and be home. I certainly miss Shanilee and am so glad I had the opportunity to be with her. Until the next trip, it's back to the grind, but a what a good grind it is!

The "E" Crew

So I have seen so many peoples AWsome blogs and have never taken the time to create one myself. But today is the day!!

WHo is The "E" Crew? you ask. Well let me tell you.

Boyd and myself (Alyson) met over 14 years ago at a little Cafe called the Lofthouse. It wasn't love at first site but something sure happened. Boyd was a dish-boy/cook and I was the newest waitress. He was a football playing, rowdy cowboy, and I was the as he tells me a "preppy girl". The tradition seemed to be that the boys in the kitchen tried to see who got the first date with all the new waitresses. And so Boyd mustered up the courage and asked me out. It was a lovely evening consisting of dinner at Premium Ice Cream shop that no longer exists and the movie Ace Ventura Pet Detective. I had no intention of dating Boyd but some how or another one date turned into two and before I knew it I was spending more and more time with him. We were married on June 20th 1997 (my grandmother's anniversary) and we soon had a little family started. Jacie came first and a year and a half after we had been married we took our adorable little Jacie to the temple. Boyd and I were married for time and all eternity and Jacie was sealed to us. What a special day!! Jacie is our animal activist and brings the Drama for us. Jaxson came next and was our little indian papoose. He was covered with black hair from head to toe. Olyvia came 3rd and waited around for no one. When she decided she was coming into this world she waisted no time! When we decided that we wanted just one more we got the two for one deal that was offered that day! Number 4 & 5 are our funny twin boys Payton and Mckay. They brought the finishing touches to our family and make us laugh every day.
Boyd and I are going on 12 years of marriage and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is my other half and makes me a better person. So that is us The "E" Crew
